On August 06,2016 the students of Tourism and Hospitality Management department of Daffodil International University visited the archeological site of “Baliati Palace” and the natural garden named “Mohammodia Garden”. The ancient city (Baliati Palace) is around 28 kilometers for away from Dhaka that is considered to be of great archaeological significance of 18th century.

At first we visited the “Mohammodia Garden” near by the main road to Dhaka in Manikgonj. Entering the park, a photograph session was conducted. Then the student of 7th& 8th batch arranged a football match. Our teacher and all of the students enjoyed it very much. Really it made them amused which helped them also to alleviate exhaustion from their mind and body. “Mohammodia Garden” is a beautiful picnic spot in Dhaka. It is situated five Kilometer North of Kalampur bus stand, Dhamrai, Dhaka. “Mohammodia Garden” picnic spot total capacity is 35 Bighas.

After visitant the park we went to “Baliati Palace” which is located at the Saturia upozila of Manikgonj district and name of the village is Baliati. This archaeological building is about 200 years old. A river named Gazikhali which is demised interim of the time, flowed at the northern site of the palace. The whole premise is a huge one (approximately 16000 square meter). There are possibly 200 rooms available inside the premise.

To conclude, it can be said that, it was a wonderful tour for the students of Tourism and Hospitality Management. Visiting the place, they have gained the knowledge on the subject matter and fulfill the part of their study.
